| Carl Campbell
has been called "the match that lit the flame"
as one of Triple C Healthcare Services original
founders. Since the early days of Triple C, the
years have been marked by change and growth,
and—most importantly—by multitudes of people who
have been helped and served.
Who is Carl Campbell? He
might best be summed up as an industry pioneer
and humanitarian, a man who has carried the
torch for the people he has served.
Carl and his wife Betty moved
to Wenatchee and built their first facility,
consisting of 44 beds and named Parkside. It
opened on February 7, 1954.
Betty was the cook and nurse
and Carl was the bookkeeper and orderly, washing
dishes and doing maintenance work. The children
who came to their union, Danny and Kathy,
performed various chores around the facility and
literally grew up in the nursing home.
In the years since their
humble beginning, the Campbell's have built or
acquired more than 180 centers in 21 states.
Their vision and labor have made possible the
extension of medical, social and cultural
services in an environment of warmth and
compassion that challenges, uplifts and
encourages human beings. |
