Emphasis is placed on respect for our residents who lived full, productive lives prior to becoming victims of this disease. Our facility offers a 24 hour care giving, secured environment for our residents to walk about freely. We offer private apartments. When employing staff, we look for that "special person" who is compassionate, patient and caring. Each caregiver is trained and supervised in dealing and monitoring our residents' health and well-being. Goals: To maintain a lifestyle as close as possible to the lifestyle of the person pre-dementia. To promote independent physical functioning to the highest level possible. To promote independent mental functioning to the highest level possible. To promote a feeling of self-worth. To provide for privacy. To provide for social contact with friends and family.
